The Foundation for Tacoma Students invites you to partner with the Graduate Tacoma community-wide movement as an event sponsor. No single organization can solve any major social problem alone. That’s why the Graduate Tacoma community-wide movement applies a model of collective impact to bridge sectors and support systems in favor of kids. Organizations, institutions and community members align their work to support a cradle-to- career vision.

The Graduate Tacoma movement is a growing network of community leaders, decision makers, educators, schools, colleges, businesses, and community organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, Tacoma Rescue Mission, and Communities in Schools of Tacoma — over 295 partners working to improve the lives of children and youth at every level. There is no other local movement like Graduate Tacoma that brings together so many organizations in support of a single mission — the cradle to career success of our youth. Working together, Tacoma’s high school graduation rates have soared from 55 percent to 89 percent. For the first time ever, poverty, race, and location no longer determine student outcomes in the City of Tacoma.
